Notes

You can work with an unlimited number of notes at any level. Notes relate to a model, statement, account or cell.

 

Adding Model Notes

In the Models tab of the Navigation window, right-click on the desired model. From the context menu, select Insert Note. In the window that displays, enter the Name of the note, and enter the note’s text in the Notes field. Then confirm by clicking on Save. The newly-created note appears in the Notes tab, which is in the window below the Dataroom’s main work area, marked “M” in the Type column. If this does not occur, click on the Refresh button.

 

Adding Statement Notes

In the Statements tab of the Navigation window, right-click on the desired statement. From the context menu, select Insert Note. In the window that displays, enter the Name of the note, and enter the note’s text in the Notes field. Then confirm by clicking on Save. The newly-created note appears in the Notes tab, which is in the window below the Dataroom’s main work area, marked “S” in the Type column. If this does not occur, click on the Refresh button.

 

Adding Account Notes

In Dataroom’s main work area, right-click on the desired account. From the context menu, select Insert Note for Account. In the window that displays, enter the Name of the note, and enter the note’s text in the Notes field. Then confirm by clicking on Save. The newly-created note appears in the Notes tab, which is in the window below the Dataroom’s main work area, marked “A” in the Type column. If this does not occur, click on the Refresh button. 

 

Adding Cell Notes

In Dataroom’s main work area, right-click on the desired cell. From the context menu, select Insert Note for Cell. In the window that displays, enter the Name of the note, and enter the note’s text in the Notes field. Then confirm by clicking on Save. The newly-created note appears in the Notes tab, which is in the window below the Dataroom’s main work area, marked “C” in the Type column. If this does not occur, click on the Refresh button.

 

Deleting Notes

In the Notes tab, which is in the window below Dataroom’s main work area, mark the desired notes and click on Delete Note.

 

Displaying / Editing Notes

In the Notes tab, which is in the window below Dataroom’s main work area, mark the desired notes and click on Note tab in right window. In the window that displays, you can edit the Name of the note or its text, then confirm by clicking on Update.

 

Notes Filter

In the Notes tab, under Dataroom’s main work area, you can use the Notes Filter. To display the notes related only to the statement marked, tick the Only Statement. To display the notes related only to the account marked, tick the Only Account box. You can switch off the filter by clicking again on the box ticked.
